And look what I found this morning... two Tawny Frogmouths! Normally the little one on the lower branch is our regular visitor. She is the one I look out for every day. Sometimes she's there, most times she's not so it is always a joy when she chooses to visit.
And then, today, she has brought this fellow with her. Her new mate? Hellooooooo handsome!
I'm thinking so - later in the day he decided to snuggle up next to her....
Tawny Frogmouth love among the magnolia leaves!
And, finally, a bit of pizza patterning from the 3 year old Miss J, bless.
Have fun!
Sam xx
How gorgeous are those tawny frogmouths, I haven't seen one for ages.
ReplyDeleteYes - they were there yesterday, Friday, but the kids inform me that they are canoodling somewhere else today. xx
DeleteWOW! LOVE LOVE LOVE that pair sitting in the tree- K I S S I N G (now I've got that little ditty going through my head). I think I found a mopoke feather on Sunday - I have been peering intently at your photos to see if it looks the same and I think it does.
ReplyDeleteI am in love with your wool colour chart. It's another affliction of mine I'm afraid - I seem to have amassed a huge collection....
