Knitting Ta-dah!

Miss M's Olearia cardigan is finished! Ta-dah!! I am impressed with the design - the bodice is well shaped and I really like the top-down construction. I do love not having to sew the garment together at the end!

Pattern:  Olearia by Georgie Hallam (found on ravelry.com) - cardigan version 2

Yarn:     Cleckheaton Country 8 ply

Colour:  #2294

Size:      According to chest measurements, Miss M is a size 4 so that's the one I knitted but rather than the 4mm needles recommended, I used 4.5mm and added about 8cm to the length, given that she will be 6 years old later this year.

Buttons: Miss M chose the buttons from my (very) small stash. I think I bought them 6 years go from one of the quilting shows in Perth.

I love this garment and I will be using the pattern again!  I am, however, a bit sad that it is finished - I was rather enjoying this one. But, it does mean that I can now concentrate on my 'Every day in May' challenge - I'll update with my progress soon.
